I was not going to work that day, and so I lazed around in bed. Finally, I sat up, rested my feet on the floor, and reached my hand out to check my phone. There was a missed text from my dear friend, Sweet Sher. She said she was at work, and in her mind, she heard me singing, "Unto Thee Oh Lord, do I Lift Up My Soul". This prompted me to record a song (which I very rarely ever did... Song posted above) and sent it to her. Then, the thought occurred to me, why not send it to the contacts in my phone. I did this, and it was quite astounding the response I received.

One friend that I had not spoken to in years, shared her grief of the recent loss of her daughter by a blood clot to the heart, and her struggle in court to prevent the adoptive parents from reclaiming her grandchildren that her deceased daughter had raised from infancy. She expressed her gratitude for the song and the comfort and encouragement that it had brought her. Later, on our prayer line, we added her name to our prayer list.

God told Jehoshaphat (2 Chronicles 20) that all he and his people needed to do was to sing songs of praise. You see, the battle was not there's but the Lord's.
